In the Mataredonda Paramo at 3500 m.a.s.l. we will be enjoying a totally different and safe environment. After our first stop, we will go to the farm where we will have breakfast to recharge our energies and become farmers.
The farm is designed in order to take advantage of natural resources without causing a negative environmental impact. Thus during the ecological walk, we will feed animals, harvest fruits and vegetables, care for crops, do equipment maintenance, prepare cheese and in general learn a lot about the whole farm and permaculture.
DESCRIPTION:
The exit is at 6:30 from the center of Bogota to climb a beautiful mountain road for 30 minutes until reaching the highest point of the route at 3500 m.a.s.l. in the paramo of Mataredonda. There we will stay for 20 minutes to breathe fresh air and enjoy the scenery, cold and drink an agua de panela. We will return at 3 p.m. in order to stop at the Sanctuary of Guadalupe and observe Monserrate and Bogota from the heights. We’ll be in town at 5 p.m.

- It is available from Tuesday to Friday.
- From 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

- Wear comfortable shoes for walking and / or rubber boots.
