The journey starts very early; we will pick up our travelers at 6:30 a.m. in their hotels in order to travel to the coffee farm where they will welcome us with a great breakfast and then start our work as coffee picker. During the time on the farm we will make a short tour to the coffee crops, learn about their history, its variety, the different care that the cultivation requires and the guidelines to begin the activity of coffee harvesting with an expert guide. Then the whole handicraft process will begin as our grandparents did. We will have lunch inside the farm, then we will make the artisanal process of threshing, roasting and coffee grinding and a typical amasijo in the wood oven that is more than 80 years old; with this activity finishes our experience. We will return to Bogotá around 5:00 p.m.
